The Holland Pond petition seeks to prohibit personal watercraft (jet skis) and apply the “no wake” rule on Holland Pond.
Bill Martinez made a motion not to go forward with rulemaking on Holland Pond because there is no demonstration in the petition that there is currently a significant conflict of uses on the pond; this was seconded by Mike Hebert and voted unanimously by the Panel. John Hasen was instructed by the Panel to write a memo to Gary Leavens, the petitioner, advising him of the Panel’s decision. - From the 5/23 STATE OF VERMONT, NATURAL RESOURCES BOARD, WATER RESOURCES PANEL
